ParaSan Studios is a small, independent board game design studio based in Virginia, USA. We're a team of creators and lifelong gamers who love building imaginative worlds and bringing people together around the table.

Our flagship game, Mistio, started as sketches on scrap paper in 2022 and has grown into a complete, playable board game. Everything we make is guided by three principles: easy to learn, difficult to master, and endlessly repayable.

We're hands-on at every stage — designing cards, balancing mechanics, building prototypes, and play testing regularly with friends and colleagues. Rather than rush to market, we've spent years refining Mistio so the final product is one we're confident the board game community will love.

As a small studio, community is everything to us. Following our work, joining our newsletter, or playtesting Mistio directly supports the growth of independent tabletop creators and illustrators. We believe AI has a role in the future of game design, but we're firm on one thing: protecting the livelihoods of the artists who make these games come to life. All of Mistio's art is illustrated by Kerem Hassoy, and your support helps him and his team build their name in the industry too.
